Our First Tied Knot

I read Cyndi's ad in February, and thought she was unusually bright and attractive. I saw that she liked playing Scrabble so I quickly edited my ad to indicate my own enjoyment of the game. When I wrote to her, I mainly asked questions. She read my ad and thought, "Oh, goodie!" My Republicanism gave her reason to pause, though. But we exchanged emails. And eventually we talked on the phone . . . for hours. We met at a coffee shop in San Francisco on the 6th of April, 2001. She made picnics that we shared in the park during my lunch breaks. We drank wine and made out at the Giants game. She walked me to the train each night, where we kissed and groped each other on the bench before the train left. (I lived in Silicon Valley but worked in San Francisco.) We got married on May 12th at Caesar's Palace in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Now we eat breakfast together, shop for furniture, fuck all the time, eat picnics at lunch time, read to each other in bed and all that other stuff married people do. We are even trying to have babies!

Thanks Nerve, for getting me an Cyndi together.

Matt
