Suddenly, This Summer
 I've been a Nerve subscriber for a while now and have met several charming men through Nerve Personals. The problem has always been that these men live pretty far from me. It has meant that I've had some great visits and now have some great dinner companions that I know and like when I travel, but it wasn't helping the in-town dating situation. Until last week.
I went online to respond to a message from one of the out-of-towners and noticed a new message inviting me for coffee at the shop around the corner from my place. I checked his profile and decided he seemed pretty cool so I agreed. Later that day when we were both online, I IG-ed him and we met a few minutes later at the coffee shop.
We have since discovered that we have many mutual friends, similar interests, corresponding outlooks on relationships and are madly attracted to one another. It's going to be a hotter summer than expected and that's impressive in New Orleans.
